Compensation : $88,000.00 - $137,000.00 + Bonus & relocation

The Lead Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other required modalities within individual department(s). Examinations are performed independently, under physician supervision, and with peer collaboration as is appropriate.

The Lead Sonographer effectively leads/manages team as the Lead in all work areas. The Lead Sonographer also helps to mentor and educate all levels of staff. The position is allotted a minimum of 8 hours a week administration time. Eligibility to remain as a lead sonographer is determined at a yearly evaluation based on fulfillment of job responsibilities throughout the prior year.

HOURS:

8:00am-4:30pm (or 8am-4pm) Monday through Friday. Participation in holiday and weekend rotation required. Weekend shift times vary from standard weekday shift hours. While not a requirement at this time, call may be assigned in the future if the need arises.

​Candidates joining us in a full-time position, from a distance that is greater than 50 miles from their previous role and home, are eligible for relocation assistance.

Must haves:

High school graduate or equivalent

Graduate of a certified CAAHEP school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology or a two-year allied health equivalent with extensive on-the-job ultrasound training providing the ability to perform diagnostic medical ultrasound exams.

Active ARDMS registration in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular. We welcome applications from individuals with registration in two of these three areas.

Eight years of paid scanning experience.

Level I trauma center experience

Experience with GE ultrasound technology.

Experience with Epic EMR.

Experience with Visage PACS system.
